Truffle Hunting Guide
If you are good with dogs and people think about becoming a truffle hunting guide. Our hunts are open to the public as well as tour groups and private ebents. Hunts last about 2 to 3 hours. You will be trained to talk to the guests about truffle growing, truffle hunting and about the truffle industry. You will go out with a group of guests (typically 15 to 20 people) and assist the trufle hunter on how the dogs find truffle and learn to recognized if the truffle is ripe and ready to harvest, Your duties will also extend to helping in the restaurant.
Seasonal work, mostly at weekends and holidays serving the holiday makers, tourists and local visitors.
Retail Sales
If you are good with people join our staff team to sell truffles and truffle products. You will be trained to talk to customers about truffle growing, truffle hunting and about the truffle industry. Your duties will also extend to helping serving meals, cooking toasties, setting tables for truffle hunts and tastings and assisting with labelling and packing products.
