Private Hunt Terms & Conditions
Truffle hunts are in high demand whether public or private. To book a private hunt it is best to book months ahead. We cater for special occasions, corporate groups, family outings, or whatever is the occasion.
Hunt pricing depends on whether they are held in-season or pre-season and the day of the week. The winter season is early June to end of August; the summer season is early December to end of January. Pre-season is the period of roughly 6 weeks before the season commences.
The price per person is $150 for hunt only, meal pricing is additional, see the form for details.
A standard hunt will last for about 2 hours. This includes a 20-30 minute talk about truffles, truffle farming and our farm. Then the group goes out with a hunter and a trained truffle hunting dog who will sniff out the truffles in the ground. The group will have the oportunity to get down and sniff the truffle to see if it ripe, if so you may be asked to dig it and out. Then back to our hunt pavilion to wash the truffles and hear some amazing facts, science and mysteries of truffles.
For large corporate groups the price is negotiable and depends on the length of the hunt.
The maximum number for a sit down meal in the Hunt Pavilion is 20.
For larger groups, we can make arrangements on site or your group can go to one of partner restaurants for a truffle meal.
In-season hunts, for Friday to Sunday the minimum price is $2,900; for Monday to Thursday the minimum price is $1,900.
Pre-season, the minimum price is $1,200.
The Full Lunch is 4 courses (truffle soup and bread, truffle pizza, truffle cheese board and a truffle dessert).
The Brunch is similar to the Full lunch except the main is truffle scambled eggs and not the pizza.
The Truffle Pizza lunch is just the pizza.
The truffle tasting is a sample of our truffle products.
