Truffle Hunt Experiences
A tour commences at our Hunt Pavilion with an information session on the fascinating world of truffles. Guests will learn about the history of the first successful truffle farm on the Peninsula.
Tour groups will go out into the truffière to hunt with our talented and skilled hunters and our lovable springer spaniels to find the underground treasures. Guests will have the opportunity to get down and sniff if a truffle is ripe and depending on the experience selected, they will have the opportunity to unearth truffles with their own hands. Then return to the Hunt Pavilion to wash and prepare their harvested truffles for a tasting. While washing they will be offered a glass of non-alcoholic local cider and hear why people find truffles are so evocative and desirable.
