Truffle hunts followed by a truffle lunch
The hunt commences at 11am for about 2 hours. You will dicover the mysteries of truffle and be able to forage for truffles with our experienced truffle hunting dogs. Once the truffles found you will have the opportunities to check if they are ripe and if so harvest the truffle with your own hands. After the hunt you go onto a fabulous local restaurant for a delicious truffle lunch.

In a perfect world they should be relaxed, fun, and a little bit indulgent, which is exactly how our truffle hunting events pan out. The hunts start with a stroll through the truffiere taking in the oaks, hazelnut trees & perhaps native fauna with the help of trained dogs & a recipe creator of note boosts energy levels. Then a short drive to one of the Peninsula’s great resturants for a truffle lunch at Montalto’s Piazza. Lunch includes: Bread, olives, Giardiniera; Cauliflower croquets, truffle aioli; Rabbit terrine, plum chutney house focaccia; Bruschetta with pine mushrooms and truffle scent; Risotto, garden peas and Red Hill Truffle Risotto, pecorino; Garden leaves, house dressing.; and Tiramisu

Unearth truffles with your own hands. An authentic experience with our fabulous truffle hunters where you can harvest truffles and then go for your lunch at The Epicurean Red Hill restaurant.
Escape into a different world. This truffle hunt and lunch package is a foray into the world of black truffles from their discovery underground, to learning how to clean and store them. You and your fellow hunters then go to The Epicurean at Red Hill for a gourmet truffle pizza.

A morning truffle event starts with a magical talk from Jenny (founder of Red Hill Truffles) about truffles, followed by a hunt with our truffle-hunting dogs and then onto Max's Restaurant at Red Hill Estate for a 2 truffle course lunch.
